In Strășeni district a pilot project was organized to organize the feeding of children and pupils in educational institutions. The new model is based on the outsourcing of these services and was approved by the Government through the Decision no. 1260 of December 19, 2018 on the approval of the pilot project for the organization of nutrition of children and pupils in general education institutions.

The company “Pontem.X” SRL undertakes to ensure the integrity and the quality of the services, to equip the food blocks with the equipment necessary for the proper functioning, to ensure the repair of the spaces for the canteens of the educational institutions, during the course of the project (5 years).

Currently, Pontem.X SRL provides nutrition services in 66 early, primary, secondary and lyceum schools in Straseni district, feeding daily about 6800 children. Students in grades 1-4 feed from the state.
Starting September 1, 2019, the new model will offer gymnasium and high school students the opportunity to feed themselves at hot lunch school for a fee.
